VPNMQ Setup Guide
Set up your account and subscription in the panel, then import the subscription into a client on your device. Once connected, test access to confirm everything is working.
Client interfaces vary by platform and version. In this guide, “subscription,” “configuration,” and “import from link” refer to features, not necessarily the exact button labels. Use the options currently shown in the user panel and client.
Create an account and open the panel
Open the account creation page in the VPNMQ user panel, enter a username and password, and follow the on-screen instructions. No email address required. Choose a username you’ll recognize, and consider saving a unique password in a trusted password manager. You’ll use this account to check your plan, get your subscription, and submit support tickets.
When you’re done, make sure you’re in the signed-in account area and can find options such as Overview, Clients, and Plans. If you’re still on the login page, sign in with the username and password you just created instead of creating another account. If you already have an account, sign in as usual; manage your plans and subscriptions from that account.
You’re ready to move on when you can view your account overview—not when you’ve connected to an international route. Your account, plan, and client each serve a different purpose: the account manages your service, the plan provides its data allowance, and the client connects your device. Set up your account first, then choose the billing option that suits you.
Choose a plan and review your order
Open the Plans section in the panel and decide whether you’ll use the service regularly or only occasionally. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not at the start of the calendar month. If you’d rather use data as needed, choose a data package: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, or ¥658 for 3000GB. Data packages never expire.
Check the price, data allowance, and billing terms in the plan details, then follow the panel steps to create an order and pay. VPNMQ accepts Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. The payment and order pages may be in separate tabs. After paying, return to the panel to check the order status, then confirm that the plan or data appears in your account overview. Don’t assume a plan is active just because the payment page has closed.
If payment is complete but the order status hasn’t been confirmed, check your order history and make sure it belongs to the current account before paying again. If the details don’t match, keep the order information and contact support through a panel ticket. VPNMQ offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund; see the refund policy for eligibility and how to apply. When upgrading a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the result shown in the panel before proceeding.
Get your subscription ready to import
Once your plan status is confirmed, open the account overview in the user panel and find the subscription options. Your subscription gives the client access to the route configurations available to your account; it’s not a regular web page or an installer. Choose the import method for your device and client. If the panel offers an option to open the client, install the relevant client first, then return to import your subscription.
To import manually, use the panel’s copy option to copy the complete subscription link, then paste it into the client’s “Import from link” field or its equivalent. Don’t paste it into a server address, account password, or browser search bar, and don’t copy only the part that looks like an address. If the import fails with a format error, copy the link again and check that the selected format works with your client.
Your subscription link is tied to your account access. Keep it only on your own devices and in trusted clients. Hide the full link and its parameters before taking screenshots, asking for help, or sharing your screen. There’s no need to share a real subscription link in a tutorial. When reporting an issue, just describe the step where it occurred. After getting your subscription, you only need to follow the instructions for your device—not set up every platform.
Import the client for your platform
Get the VPNMQ client for your platform from the user panel; this page doesn’t host installers. Sign in to get the client for Windows, macOS, Android, or Linux. To get a subscription and connect, your account plan must also be active. The iOS download link is available with a purchased, unexpired plan; check the panel for the current option.
Windows: Add a subscription
In the panel’s client section, choose Windows and follow the instructions to get and install the VPNMQ desktop client. Once it’s open, look for subscription or configuration management instead of manually adding a server to an empty route list. If the panel offers a one-click import option, return to the panel and select it, then confirm if your browser asks to open the client. Otherwise, choose “Import from link” in the client and paste the subscription you copied.
After importing, give the client a moment to load the configuration, then check that routes are available to select. If you have other configurations, make sure the VPNMQ subscription you just added is enabled—not just listed. Choose a route and connect according to the client’s instructions. If the interface has a separate system proxy switch, check that setting too. Then follow the connection test steps on this page.
macOS: Import and enable your configuration
Choose the VPNMQ client for macOS in the panel and select the version for your device as instructed. After installing and opening it, look for configuration or subscription management in the app window or menu bar. Import using the matching option in the panel, or add the subscription link manually. Once the subscription appears, wait for the routes to load and confirm the new configuration is enabled.
The first time you connect, macOS may ask you to authorize a network configuration or related component. Check that the prompt comes from the client you just installed, then follow the system instructions. A menu bar icon only means the client is running; it doesn’t confirm that all apps are using the selected route. After connecting, open the site you need and test it. If another network tool is still running, disconnect it first to avoid competing network settings.
Android: Import and allow the connection
Get the VPNMQ client for Android from the panel and install it as prompted on your device. Open the client, go to subscriptions or configurations, and paste your subscription using an option such as Add or Import from link. Use the complete subscription link, not the VPNMQ marketing website address. Save and update it, then check that the routes appear before choosing one.
When you tap Connect, Android displays a system VPN connection request. Check the app name and approve the request. Return to the client to check its status, then switch to your browser or the app you want to use and test access. If the connection drops when you switch apps, check the client’s background activity or battery settings. Menus vary by device, so keep the default settings unless you run into an issue that calls for an adjustment; there’s no need to change everything upfront.
iOS: Import and add a VPN configuration
First, check that your plan is purchased and hasn’t expired. Then get the iOS download link from the client section and follow the panel instructions to install the relevant client from the App Store. If the panel says your account isn’t currently eligible, check your plan status rather than looking for a download link elsewhere. Once installed, return to the panel and use the import option for that client.
To import manually, choose the option to add a link in the client’s subscription or configuration manager, paste the full subscription link, and save it. The first time you connect, follow the iOS prompt to allow the VPN configuration to be added. Then return to the client and check the route and connection status. If the subscription is imported but access hasn’t changed, first confirm that the right configuration is enabled and test access before considering reinstalling the app.
Linux: Configure the client using the panel instructions
Get the client for Linux from the panel, then check the system requirements and installation method in the instructions. After launching it, import the subscription from the subscription or configuration manager and make sure the route list has loaded. Network integration can differ across desktop environments, so enable the required settings as described by the client. Don’t copy menu paths from another operating system or run commands from unknown sources.
VPNMQ supports unlimited devices online at the same time. To use the service on another device, repeat the client import steps there. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data; follow the data rules for your account’s plan.
Connect and test access
Choose a route in the client and connect. First, confirm that the client shows a connected status and no configuration errors. Then open the site you want and try the same things you’d normally do there: for AI tools, check that you can sign in and submit a request; for streaming, check that both the content page and playback open. Seeing a homepage load—or a system VPN icon—doesn’t confirm that the whole process is working.
Connection results also depend on the target platform’s account eligibility, supported regions, and content policies. A working route doesn’t guarantee access to every feature or piece of content on a platform. If one site has an issue but others work, check the specific message it displays before considering another region. Don’t assume every problem means the client failed to import.
If you can’t access anything, check these in order: plan status, whether the subscription is up to date, whether the current configuration is enabled, and whether the selected route and connection switch are correct. Temporarily close other tools that manage your network, then try another route. Change one thing at a time so you can tell what made a difference. If the issue persists, visit the support page for connection and troubleshooting help, or submit a panel support ticket with your system, client message, and the steps where the error occurred. Hide sensitive account information in screenshots.
Ongoing use and subscription maintenance
After your first successful connection, keep the working configuration and connect or disconnect from the client as needed. If you need new routes or the panel says your configuration has changed, update the existing subscription in the client instead of adding the same link again. When switching devices, get a fresh subscription from your own panel and import it using the instructions for that platform. Don’t share the full configuration from your old device.
Check your data usage and plan status in the overview from time to time. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date; data packages never expire and remain available until used. If you can connect but can’t access sites as expected, check that your account still has data available before troubleshooting the route or client. Renewals, plan changes, and order history are all managed in the user panel.
